Triple M Dirtwork

An Independence Excavation and Plumbing Crew, Finally Easy to Find

Triple M Dirtwork

Triple M Dirtwork is a locally owned excavation and plumbing outfit based in Independence, Missouri. For more than eight years the crew has been running gas lines, replacing sewer and water services, roughing in under-slab plumbing, and grading problem yards for homeowners, builders, and property managers across the eastern Kansas City metro. Their whole approach fits in one sentence: the same crew opens the ground, makes the connection, and closes it back up.

The work spoke for itself — to anyone who saw it in person. Online, there wasn't much to see.

We built triplemdirtwork.com on Wysova, CoreLink's platform for local businesses. It shows what the platform does for a trades business whose owners would rather be on a machine than behind a keyboard.

The Challenge

Dirt and pipe work is a hard thing to shop for. A homeowner with a soggy yard or a backed-up sewer line often doesn't know whether they need a plumber, an excavator, or both — and they're usually picking a crew from their phone, fast. They want four answers: do these guys handle my kind of job, do they work in my town, have they actually done it before, and how do I reach them.

Triple M had good answers to all four. They just weren't anywhere a customer could find them. The best proof of the crew's work lived in a pile of job-site photos on their phones. And in search results they were up against bigger plumbing companies and the lead-selling sites that pay to sit at the top of the page. To compete, Google needed to understand exactly what Triple M does and where they do it.

Our Solution

A page for each kind of job

Plumbing, Excavation & Site Prep, Grading & Drainage, and Gas Line Installation each have their own page, written in plain terms about the actual work — mini excavator jobs in tight backyards, French drains and downspout tie-ins, pressure-tested gas line run out to a pool heater, generator, or fire pit. A homeowner can recognize their own problem on the page. Google sees four clear specialties instead of one vague "we do dirt work."

The crew's photos, turned into proof

Triple M handed us a dump of job photos straight off their phones. We sorted them into five albums — gas lines, sewer and water, basement and under-slab plumbing, pool equipment hookups, and site work — and turned the best jobs into short project write-ups: a sewer lateral replacement in Independence, a backyard sewer line with barely any room to work, a gas retrofit through a finished yard, a lot regraded after a wet week. That's the "have they done this before?" question, answered with pictures.

The platform automatically converts every photo into a lightweight version sized for the device asking for it, so a gallery with dozens of job photos still loads quickly on a phone with one bar of signal.

Clear about where they work

Independence, Kansas City, Blue Springs, Lee's Summit, Grain Valley, North Kansas City, Liberty, and Odessa are spelled out on a dedicated service-area page and in every page footer. Nobody has to call just to find out whether Triple M comes out to their town.

Telling Google what kind of business this is

Behind the scenes, every page carries a hidden, machine-readable summary of the business — that it's a home and construction contractor, where it's based, its hours, its phone number, and the area it serves. Search engines read that summary directly instead of guessing. And every page arrives at the visitor's phone complete, rather than as a blank frame that goes and fetches its content, which is better for both the customer and Google.

Calling is the main event

For a contractor, the website's real job is to make the phone ring. The phone number sits at the top of every page and dials with one tap, and a "Get Free Estimate" button is never more than a thumb's reach away. The site also runs Google Analytics, so Triple M can see what's bringing people in.

Results & Impact

Triple M now has a website that does what a good word-of-mouth referral does: it explains what they do, shows the jobs they've done, says where they work, and hands over the phone number. The photos that used to sit on a phone are now doing sales work around the clock.

And because the site runs on Wysova instead of as a one-off build sitting in a folder somewhere, it keeps getting better on its own. Speed improvements, search updates, and security fixes land automatically, with no redesign and no new invoice.

Key Takeaways

A trades business doesn't need a flashy website. It needs a clear one — what we do, where we do it, proof we've done it, and how to call. Wysova handles the invisible parts every local business needs, like search visibility, speed, and photo handling, so the project could focus on the part only Triple M could supply: their own work.
